Demarage is situated in the Delta region of Zeeland. Holland's Delta region is without any doubt, one of the most diversified sailing regions of Western Europe and offers numerous possibilities for both the novice as well as the advanced sailing enthusiast. Contrasts go together easily in this region: still and flowing waters, freshwater and saltwater, river and seawater, water and land, recreation and scenic areas and open stretches of water, dams and banks. The combination of all these factors ensures there is a (sailing) challenge for everyone who will visit our sailing school in Holland.

Due to the execution of the Delta works, a couple of Dutch towns in the area have lost their direct connection with the North Sea. What they did not lose, however, is their charm, as can be seen in places like Veere, Zierikzee, Brouwershaven and Hellevoetsluis. Here you can indulge yourself in charming terraces, and you can spot magnificent facades and witness the rich maritime past. The weather in the Delta region is another excellent reason to sail here. You cannot find a sunnier area in the Netherlands, the greatest annual number of sun hours is measured here. The wind usually blows from the West and because of the open character of the area it is very reliable.

We provide sailing lessons for both beginners and experts.
